Location: William Farr School Whenever the family Ranunculaceae is mentioned, most people think of buttercups.  In this talk, the diversity of the family is explored to demonstrate the huge number of wonderful garden plants that are ranunculids but definitely not buttercups! Anemones, hepaticas, delphiniums, clematis and a host of other beautiful genera are covered and their evolutionary relationships revealed.
