- Description: Evergreen rhizomatous perennial.
- Dimensions: 45cm x 45cm
- Flowers: Clusters of deep pink flowers.
- Foliage: Evergreen. Large rounded, fleshy mid-green leaves, colouring red in winter.
- Soil: Any soil.
- Aspect: Full sun or part-shade
- Pests: Leaves may be damaged by slugs and snails or adult vine weevils, whilst weevil grubs may eat away the rhizome.
- Cultivation: Remove dead foliage and cut back elongated stems to keep plant tidy.
- Propagation: Propagate by rooting pieces of stem/rhizome detached from the main plant.
