Reason: Originally (around mid 1980’s) bought from Boughton Dower House in Northamptonshire, home of Sir David Scott and Valerie Finnis.
Verified by: Name has not yet been verified, but plant has been correctly identified.
Description: Rhizomatous bearded iris.
Dimensions: 35cm x 40cm
Flowers: White flowers with falls heavily veined in deep violet.
Foliage: Mid-green sword-shaped leaves
Soil: Any well-drained soil.
Aspect: Full sun
Pests: Generally no problems.
Cultivation: Clumps need to be divided regularly every 2-3 years to keep plant flourishing.
Propagation: Divide the rhizome and replant pieces with 2 or 3 leaf fans leaving the top of the rhizome exposed.
