Penstemons Booklet

£4.00

Author David Way

Publication Date June 2006 (2nd edition, first published December 1996)

This booklet covers the history of Penstemons in cultivation, describes the many species and hybrid cultivars in detail and includes several colour photographs. Cultivation, propagation and dealing with pests and diseases are all covered in this very useful guide to the genus. It has been written as an introduction and a guide to penstemons and their culture under conditions prevailing in the British Isles. Although it concentrates on penstemons as plants for the border, those suited to other situations are also discussed.
