Conservation Scheme information for Hemerocallis ‘Hyde Hall’

By: Essex Group
Reason: Bred by Chris Bonanni of Cold Harbour Nursery, Wareham, Dorset, it was selected in 2011 as a late flowering cultivar, intended for launch at a Plant Fair at Hyde Hall that did not happen.

Description: Herbaceous clump-forming perennial.
Dimensions: 75cm x 90cm
Flowers: Upward-facing single apricot flower.
Foliage: Mid-green strap-like leaves.
Soil: Any soil.
Aspect: Full sun
Pests: Slugs and snails. Unaffected by Hemerocallis Gall Midge due to late blooming.
Cultivation: Tolerant of a wide range of conditions, but may need watering in a dry spring to ensure good flowering.
Propagation: Division of established clumps in spring.
