Reason: Little known, believed to have been raised by a Western Counties Group member and named after his mother.

Description: Herbaceous, clump-forming perennial.
Dimensions: 70cm x 50cm
Flowers: Pale pink flowers with a white eye and edge. Fragrant and flowers for a long period.
Foliage: Green lance shaped leaves. Foliage often poor along lower third of stems.
Soil: Any moisture-retentive soil.
Aspect: Full sun or part-shade
Pests: May be affected by powdery mildew in dry weather. Phlox eelworm.
Cultivation: Deadhead regularly to prolong flowering. Cut back to ground level in late autumn.
Propagation: Divide established clumps in spring or autumn or take basal cuttings in spring or strike from root cuttings in late autumn.
