- Reason: Originally listed in the Conservation Scheme asP.'Netta Statham' and thought to be the plant named for plantswoman Netta by her friend Margery Fish. That plant was described as having 'almost entirely silver leaves' whilst this plant has lightly spotted leaves. The nameP.'Erway Farm' (after Netta Staham's garden in Shropshire) was suggested by Margaret Stone, author of the HPS Pulmonaria booklet.

- Description: Herbaceous or semi-evergreen rhizomatous perennial.
- Dimensions: 30cm x 30cm
- Flowers: Terminal clusters of deep blue flowers with dark calyces.
- Foliage: Rough, hairy pointed green leaf with pale spots.
- Soil: Any soil, but needs soil that doesn’t dry out in summer and has good winter drainage.
- Aspect: Part shade
- Pests: Generally no problems.
- Cultivation: Remove old leaves after flowering to encourage new growth.
- Propagation: Divide clumps in autumn or take root cuttings.
