Conservation Scheme information for Geranium ‘Pink Delight’

  • Reason: Found as a seedling growing in a paving crack in geranium expert Juliet Robinson’s garden, she felt it worth propagating due to its long-flowering season and sterility.
  • Verified by: Supplied by Elworthy Cottage Plants, nr. Taunton, Somerset in 2011
  • Description: Evergreen perennial forming compact mat of foliage.
  • Dimensions: 10cm x 30cm
  • Flowers: Shell-pink, 5-petalled flowers approx 2.5cm with a luminous sheen.
  • Foliage: Soft grey-green lobed leaves forming a dense mat.
  • Soil: Any well-drained soil.
  • Aspect: Full sun
  • Pests: Generally no problems.
  • Cultivation: Flowers are sterile so no unwanted seedlings.
  • Propagation: Divisions will root under glass without additional heat.
