Conservation Scheme information for Heuchera ‘Oakington Jewel’

- By: Hampshire Group
- Reason: Originally introduced in 2002 because it was little grown. By 2006 it had more than 4 entries in the Plant Finder so was removed from the scheme. However, by 2022 it was only listed by one nursery. It was decided to bring this plant back into the scheme so numbers could be built up again.

- Dimensions: 13cm x 28cm
- Flowers: Dainty spikes of bell-shaped flowers
- Foliage: Crinkled lobed leaves remain green with distinctive purple veins and tinges of silver throughout the year.
- Soil: Prefers average to moist conditions and shouldn't be allowed to dry out.
- Aspect: Shade
- Pests: Potential problems include powdery mildew, rust, leaf spot and vine weevil.
- Cultivation: A low maintenance plant.
- Propagation: Division
