  • By: Norfolk & Suffolk Group
  • Reason: Historical interest. An early introduction, bred by Alan Bloom around 1938/9.
  • Verified by: Blooms of Bressingham
  • Description: Mound-forming evergreen perennial.
  • Dimensions: 40cm x 30cm
  • Flowers: Wands of small white flowers.
  • Foliage: Rounded, lobed toothed leaves attractively mottled light green.
  • Soil: Any soil, but needs soil that doesn’t dry out in summer and has good winter drainage.
  • Aspect: Full sun or part-shade
  • Pests: Slugs and snails. Vine weevil.
  • Cultivation: Should be divided every 3-4 years when it starts to become woody.
  • Propagation: Plants may be divided into separate crowns or basal cuttings are easy to root.
