- Reason: Historical interest. An early introduction, bred by Alan Bloom around 1938/9.

- Description: Mound-forming evergreen perennial.
- Dimensions: 40cm x 30cm
- Flowers: Wands of small white flowers.
- Foliage: Rounded, lobed toothed leaves attractively mottled light green.
- Soil: Any soil, but needs soil that doesn’t dry out in summer and has good winter drainage.
- Aspect: Full sun or part-shade
- Pests: Slugs and snails. Vine weevil.
- Cultivation: Should be divided every 3-4 years when it starts to become woody.
- Propagation: Plants may be divided into separate crowns or basal cuttings are easy to root.
