- Reason: not known - however this plant has been recognised as a desirable and garden-worthy phlox. Awarded RHS AGM in 2013.
- Verified by: Obtained from Diana Grenfell, ex Apple Court Nursery, Hampshire and verified by Jennifer Harmer.
- Description: Herbaceous, clump-forming perennial.
- Dimensions: 90cm x 30cm
- Flowers: Pale lavender with a large white eye. Scented.
- Foliage: Green lance shaped leaves. Foliage often poor along lower third of stems.
- Soil: Any moisture-retentive soil.
- Aspect: Full sun or part-shade
- Pests: May be affected by powdery mildew in dry weather. Phlox eelworm.
- Cultivation: Deadhead regularly to prolong flowering. Cut back to ground level in late autumn.
- Propagation: Divide established clumps in spring or autumn or take basal cuttings in spring or strike from root cuttings in late autumn.
