- By: Shropshire Group
- Reason: Bred by Jennifer Hewitt, British Iris Society Registrar and named for her late husband. Registered in 2003. Awarded an RHS AGM in 2005 and the Dykes Medal in 2008 by the British Iris Society.

- Description: Rhizomatous herbaceous perennial. A deliberate cross between I. ‘Coronation Anthem’ and I. ‘Golden Edge’.
- Dimensions: 100cm x 50cm
- Flowers: Flower stems bear 3-4 buds per stem and are a rich violet-blue with a thin gold edge to the falls and a rich gold central signal.
- Foliage: Deciduous. Narrow grassy foliage.
- Soil: Any moisture-retentive soil.
- Aspect: Full sun or part-shade
- Pests: Generally no problems.
- Cultivation: Benefits from application of organic mulch in spring. Remove spent flower stems and any dying foliage.
- Propagation: Divide established clumps.
